Hey y’all… Happy Wednesday!🎅
This my fourth(?) year participating in Blogmas which is basically a countdown of my personal favorite reads of the year! I’m following the promts of one of my favorite blogger buddies: Sophie @Beware of the Reader who is a fab blogger and bookstagrammer so go check out her blog!
If you want to join the fun, here are the different daily topics. You can of course post only once or twice or as many time as you’d like! Use the hashtag #Blogmas2021 AND comment/leave your url on my daily post that you have posted tooif you want me to give your posts some love. That way I shouldn’t miss them!
If you’ve spent any time on my blog, you might’ve noticed that I have a soft spot for the series I’m choosing today. It’s a long running series that just keeps growing and I’ve been a fan for many years. I’m invested in all the characters and the incredible world they live in. I enjoy getting back to the original characters that I love and getting a glimpse into what they’re up to!
My pick for this year’s Best Series goes to:
Meet Sahvage: a powerful MMA fighter with a buried secret that could change the world of Caldwell forever…
Sahvage has been living under the radar for centuries-and he has every intention of staying ‘dead and buried.’ But when a civilian female sucks him into her dangerous battle with an evil as ancient as time, his protective side overrides his common sense.
Mae has lost everything, and desperation sets her on a collision course with fate. Determined to reverse a tragedy, she goes where mortals should fear to tread- and comes face to face with the Brotherhood’s new enemy. She also discovers a love she never expected to find with Sahvage, but there can be no future for them.
Knowing they will part, the two band together to fight against what Mae unknowingly unleashed- as the Brotherhood closes in to reclaim one of their damned, and the evil vows to destroy them all…
As the other Brothers nodded their heads and fell silent, Rehv looked around at their fierce faces, their strong bodies… their resolute wills—and felt a deep honor, as an outsider, to witness the living, breathing tradition of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
The Black Dagger Brother Sahvage was back in the house, so to speak. The coffin’s wood had darkened nearly to black, the paneling run with age-created cracks and spotted with wormholes. But the carvings were still evident. Symbols in the Old Language detailed warnings on all sides, and woven among the dire missives was the brother’s name.
When it came to being a legend, all it took was one person to recognize that you were epic. That was it.
I adore the Black Dagger Brotherhood! Have a fantastic day y’all!💜
