Hey y’all… Happy Tuesday!😁

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

TTT-NEW

How it works:

I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

Today’s Post:

August 10: Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve More Love

Gotta love the secondary characters! There’s quite a few that I come across that I just NEED to have stories for!😉 I’ll include a bit of my reviews to give you a hint of how much I loved the secondaries.

Colt (Storm MC, #10)
Colt

I have to say how much I ADORED Echo and really her whole family! Her wacky mother, her dark bestie, even her somber brother, Liam, all elevated the story to a fun and comedic level. (“Vlad, the Impaler!” <- my new favorite phrase!) I found myself laughing out loud at some of Echo’s antics! She was smart, driven but also quirky and amusing.

I absolutely adored the beautiful nut ball! And it IS a serious topic but the story isn’t all doom and gloom. Cheyenne and her wacky friends, Sasha and Melanie actually made me smile and LOL quite a few times.

Little Lies

I have to give a nod to the secondary characters because I absolutely enjoyed all of them and I NEED their stories!

The Girl in the Love Song (Lost Boys, #1)
The Girl in the Love Song

I have to mention the secondary characters too.
I..Can’t..Wait..
For more of the Lost Boys!! With Emma Scott’s phenomenal talent, I know their stories will be fabulous.

The Jackal (Black Dagger Brotherhood: Prison Camp, #1)
The Jackal

I loved Jack and Nyx’s story and I’m excited about the direction JRW is taking this spin off! Plus, I’m itching to get the storylines for the other badass males we met in the prison!

Dream Maker (Dream Team, #1)

If you’re a newbie to Kristen Ashley just ignore the next paragraph while I scream in happiness that we get to spend time with some of my most favorite characters ever! This book is old school KA at her finest and I absolutely adored revisiting those amazing heroes and heroines from the past.

House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City, #1)

My Favorite Side Characters:
Lehabah (Lele)= fire sprite; guardian of a secret library; friends with Bryce
Fury Axtar= assassin (unsure about WHAT she is?); good friend to Bryce
Hypaxia Enador = A mediwitch; Queen of the Witches

Fortuity (Transcend, #3)
 Fortuity

I loved the various relationships between each of the characters…sassy Morgan, withdrawn Gabe, devoted Nate, zany Gracelyn and even the charming landlord. I loved watching the characters grow and learn.

Justified (Loveless, Texas #1)
 Justified

This book is a small town romance between a hot cowboy sheriff and a smart lawyer with an thrilling storyline and fabulous secondary characters.

The House in the Cerulean Sea
The House in the Cerulean Sea

These two find a beautiful connection because of six precocious, fantastical, wondrous, UNIQUE kids that I absolutely adored! Now, usually, I’m all about a swexy romance…that’s my preferred genre. But in this case, I could not get enough of the kids and their relationship to Arthur, Linus and the island’s caretaker, a sprite named Zoe.

Have an amazing day y’all!💜
