The Evolution of Fae and Gods is the third book in the Chronicles of the Stone Veil series. This is a series of FIVE books and must be read in order!
Here’s the gist of the series:
Finley is a human, destined to fight against a deadly prophecy to save the world. Unfortunately, she has to fight against a savage dark Fae who is ten times stronger than her. But she’s not alone. She’s teamed up with the enigmatic and wealthy, Carrick. He’s not exactly human but that will be a big help to Finley.
Ok so I won’t say more about the plot but believe me when I say there’s all kinds of delicious twists and turns and OMGee moments! Book 3 launches right in after the bomb ending of book 2. And we’re once again left with an end to this book that had my jaw on the floor! Eeek!
I’m thoroughly enjoying this story and I think this book might be my favorite so far! Carrick and Finley have finally connected romantically and this part has us learning a whole bunch of juicy tidbits about the secretive Carrick. Each book only has a few chapters dedicated to Carrick’s point of view but I love getting his perspective of everything. I think he’s really a big ole softy under all that stoicism!
If you’re waiting to read this series until all the books are out, just know that the wonderful Sawyer Bennett is rolling them out pretty close together (so appreciated!). And I have a feeling that the next installment will be nail biting! Told from dual POVs with a twisted ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
