Hey y’all… Happy Tuesday!😍
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works:
I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.
Today’s Post:
March 30: Places In Books I’d Love to Live
O.M.G.!! There’s sooo many places, how do I choose?? 🤔 Ok, bear with me…let’s see what I can come up with!💜
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune
I’m sure there’s several blogger buddies who would agree with me about traveling to Marsyas Island to live in the home with six precocious little children!😉 I mean, it’s a magical place right next to a beautiful ocean!!
Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #1) by Laini Taylor
Prague! Most of book 1 takes place in Prague and the way it’s described in the book is so magical…one day, I hope to visit there! It’s on my bucket list…😁
House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J. Maas
Oh, Crescent City sounds like such a fun place to live (Well, before the mayhem at the end of the book…!) I would definitely be partying with Bryce!
The Life That Mattered (Life #1) by Jewel E. Ann
Ronan and Evelyn live in Aspen, Colorado and I ADORE Colorado! I haven’t been to Aspen yet but in 2019 we went to Colorado Springs and I’m taking a small vacay to Denver in just a few weeks. So excited!🎉
Sommersgate House (Ghosts and Reincarnation #1) by Kristen Ashley
This story takes place in England and one day…I’m going to visit my friends across the pond, LOL!💕 It would be so cool to live in an old house like Sommersgate, I love historical places like this.
A Charm of Finches (Venery #2) by Suanne Laqueur
Since I was a kid, I’ve been intrigued with New York. I’d love to visit during Christmas time. But let me tell you, just read the first few paragraphs of the Prologue in this book and Suanne Laqueur will have you wanting to live there too!😍
The Revelation of Light and Dark (Chronicles of the Stone Veil #1) by Sawyer Bennett
I just finished reading book 3 in this series (love it!) and it takes place mostly in Seattle. Several years ago, my hubby and I planned a family trip to visit Seattle but before we were able to go, we learned he had cancer. Still, I’m determined to go one day…😥
Ninth House (Alex Stern #1) by Leigh Bardugo
Ok, so there’s no way I’d ever be able to afford living at Yale but I’d love to visit Yale and New Haven! Again, there’s so much history there, it’s fascinating.🤓 Leigh Bardugo wrote such awesome details, I found myself putting aside the book so I could peruse a map of the place!
Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood #1) by J.R. Ward
Ok, so GEE! Big news flash! I’m a huge BDB fan!😜 And yeah, I’ve already mentioned New York but if I could, I’d definitely have to peer through the mhis to see the Black Dagger Brotherhood mansion in Caldwell!
The Professional (The Game Maker #1) by Kresley Cole
This story takes place in several places but the two that stayed with me are Russia and Paris! YES! One day…😏
Oh the house in the cerulean sea! I would love to go there!
