From Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson comes a new stand-alone romance with all the feels.
What happens when you make a pact with your boys to stay single and never fall in love?
Well, you get the Playboy Pact.
We were friends, her and I.
Best friends.
It was easy.
Simple.
Comfortable.
That was our dynamic.
We had a system.
An understanding.
An unspoken arrangement.
We were there for each other through thick and thin. We had an unbreakable bond. Nobody understood our friendship. Because a guy and a girl couldn’t just be best friends without emotions getting involved, right?
Without noticing, everything shifted, and I was experiencing all these new feelings…
Jealousy.
Possessiveness.
She’s mine.
Yeah…
For the first time in my life, Mila wasn’t merely a girl I trusted and hung out with on a regular basis.
She had become…
…the woman I was in love with.

The Kiss by M. Robinson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Kiss is book 1 in the Playboy Pact. I think the books in this series will be standalones with interconnecting characters…
Mila and Leo have literally spent their entire lives together. They’re best friends but can their friendship survive more?
Let me begin by saying that I’m a HUGE fan of this author! This is M. Robinson’s first foray into romantic comedy and I definitely have to give her props for expanding into another genre. That being said, I’m rating this one 3.5 stars. This book was a “fluff piece” and what I mean by that is there’s not a lot of substance to the story. It’s a light, funny, easy read and there’s nothing wrong with that, it just wasn’t my favorite read. Leo is not only best friends with Mila but also three other “boys” and I couldn’t connect with him or his friends! Their manwhore-ish ways were just too OTP and immature for my taste. Sigh…
Mila was slightly more tolerable but I was still searching for that connection. Sadly, I’m not sure if I’d be friends with any of them! But there is some pretty funny moments and scenes that made me snicker. Plus, the dialogue and quips were witty and saucy.
Overall, this wasn’t a horrible book but it wasn’t the best and yet I would recommend it for anyone looking for a soft, fluffy read! Told from dual POVs with a sweet ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Above all, M loves her readers more than anything and loves to connect with them! She is on all social media platforms but you will find her in her happy place the most. Her VIP Reader Group on Facebook or her second favorite happy place, Instagram.
Aaaaw hate it when a fave author gets a book I don’t gel with ❤
