Hey y’all… Happy Thursday!😍
Throwback Thursday is a meme where I can share some oldies but goodies…books that are older than a year and have been sitting on my Goodreads TBR for awhile or books that I’ve read & enjoyed, often from my READ AGAIN E-SHELF.
I’ve seen this meme floating around for awhile now so I finally decided to jump on board. Thanks to Renee @ It’s Book Talk who started this meme…if you get a chance, go check out her blog!

Four years ago, I lied. I stood in front of the police, my friends and family, and made up a story, my best one yet. And all of them believed me.
I wasn’t surprised. Telling stories is what made me famous. Fifteen bestsellers. Millions of fans. Fame and fortune.
Now, I have one last story to write. It’ll be my best one yet, with a jaw-dropping twist that will leave them stunned and gasping for breath.
They say that sticks and stones will break your bones, but this story? It will be the one that kills me.
This book is not a romance. It is contemporary fiction, but very suspenseful in nature. It is about a famous romance author and a dark secret she keeps.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
THE GHOSTWRITER is a thrilling, psychological, contemporary suspense and IS. NOT. A. ROMANCE! Well, not technically a romance in the traditional sense although it kinda is…ok, I can’t really say too much more than that without giving away what may be spoilers. But if you’ve ever read Alessandra Torre, (and if you haven’t, pick this one up!) you know that her writing is just incredible. Ms. Torre gave us a SPECTACULARLY, unique glimpse into a whole other world with a main character that I spent most of the book loathing (not because of the writing itself, I think it was simply Helena’s personality and I think that was Ms. Torre’s intention) only to end up bawling my eyes out and freaking LOVING Helena! Everything about this book is different than what I’m used to reading but that’s why I loved it. I was taken on CRAZY rollercoaster ride, went up high and then low, laughed then cried and at the end, went flying through a loopty-loo, a twisty turn that left my stomach in my throat!! WHEW! A DEFINITE thrill ride that will stay with me for awhile and a great addition to my READ AGAIN E-SHELF! Told from various POVS with a satisfying conclusion. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
