Hey y’all… Happy Thursday!🤓
Throwback Thursday is a meme where I can share some oldies but goodies…books that are older than a year and have been sitting on my Goodreads TBR for awhile or books that I’ve read & enjoyed, often from my READ AGAIN E-SHELF.
I’ve seen this meme floating around for awhile now so I finally decided to jump on board. Thanks to Renee @ It’s Book Talk who started this meme…if you get a chance, go check out her blog!
Grip (Grip #1) by Kennedy Ryan
Published March 2nd 2017
***This is not a cliffhanger!***
Resisting an irresistible force wears you down and turns you out. I know. I’ve been doing it for years.
I may not have a musical gift of my own, but I’ve got a nose for talent and an eye for the extraordinary. And Marlon James – Grip to his fans – is nothing short of extraordinary.
Years ago, we strung together a few magical nights, but I keep those memories in a locked drawer and I’ve thrown away the key. All that’s left is friendship and work.
He’s on the verge of unimaginable fame, all his dreams poised to come true. I manage his career, but I can’t seem to manage my heart.
It’s wild, reckless, disobedient. And it remembers all the things I want to forget.
Make sure you grab FLOW, the FREE prequel first! FLOW is chronicling the week of magical days and nights that will haunt Grip & Bristol for years to come. GRIP is the full-length conclusion of their story.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Kennedy Ryan has written a book that’s touched my heart and mind in so many wonderful, heartbreaking ways. Grip’s and Bristol’s book is SO much more than just a love story. Ms. Ryan touches on several tough, relevant issues plaguing our lives today. It’s a rollercoaster ride of love and hate, bliss and heartache, black and white all beautifully written and wrapped in a big, sexy bow! These extraordinary characters had a lot to overcome and I loved reading about every minute of it! This book and the prequel, Flow, are my favorite reads of 2017 so far. DEFINITELY books for my READ AGAIN E-SHELF! Told from dual POVs with a great ending.
