BLACKLISTED by Jay Crownover is live!

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men series comes an irresistible and suspenseful romance between a doctor who plays by the rules and the outlaw who breaks them in order to protect her.
Dr. Presley Baskin has always lived a quiet, calm life. Unfortunately, nothing about her life in Loveless, Texas — especially not the wild, rowdy, and impossibly close-knit Lawton family who’ve claimed her — is quiet or calm. Which is how loner Presley finds herself roped into patching up local bad boy Shot Caldwell against her better judgment. Presley wants nothing to do with the dangerous, brooding leader of the local outlaw motorcycle club. But when someone starts stalking her, Shot is the only person she trusts to help. Plus he owes her one . . .
Palmer ‘Shot’ Caldwell has always known his life isn’t made for relationships. At least until shy, secretive, Presley reluctantly pulled a bullet out of him. He’s oddly protective of the pretty doctor, so when she comes to him for help, hard-hearted Shot suddenly realizes there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to keep her safe.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Blacklisted is book 3 in the Loveless, Texas series. I suppose it can be read as a standalone but I think you’d benefit more by reading the whole series!
Palmer ‘Shot’ Caldwell is the president of the local outlaw motorcycle club. He’s rough, rowdy and unapologetically set in his ways. Shot ends up in Dr. Presley Baskin’s debt when she steps in to help the club. And it seems Presley will need Shot’s help to keep her safe from an enemy that wants her dead.
I was so looking forward to Shot and Presley’s romance! I love my Bad Boys and Shot is a perfectly bad, bad boy! Even though he’s an important part of a biker club, this isn’t really a “biker” romance which was kind of a bummer for me and the only reason I rated this book 4.5 stars. (I understand this was supposed to be a cowboy series though).
I still fell madly in love with Presley and Shot. The opposites attract trope never gets old for me! Presley was super smart, sweet but really lonely and isolated. She got dealt some crappy hands but I had to admire her ability to open herself up to new experiences and new people. Shot wasn’t a horrible person, he just skirted the law and didn’t exactly do things by the book but I adored how gentle and charming and protective he was with Presley.
This story has a bit of suspense, an anti-hero with a heart of gold, several steamy moments that will get your heart swooning and just enough drama to keep the pages turning! Told from dual POVs with a sweet ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
