Fight Or Flight (Tempted Series Generation 2.0)
by
Janine Infante Bosco
Once upon a time, my father’s best friend gave up his life to save me and my mom.
That’s a debt a man can never fully repay, but my father gave it his best shot.
When Joss and Brooklyn showed up at Big Nose Kate’s, it was Bones they were hoping to find.
Instead, they got us and a death certificate.
Without Bones, I would have died.
Without my dad, Brooklyn would have wound up alone.
And without Brooklyn….well, I probably would’ve pulled the trigger.
She gave me something to give a damn about. And so did my country.
But going to war changes a man.
It hardens him and leaves him bitter.
It breaks him.
I’m Eric Montgomery, and while sacrifice has always been my God given right, I never intended to lose everything.
I never intended to lose her.
Now, I’m staring at the bottom of an empty bottle, alone, trying to decide if I should fight or take flight.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Fight or Flight is the first book in a spin off series, Tempted, Generation 2.0. It can be read alone but if you enjoy biker romances, you might also really enjoy the OG series!
Brooklyn is being forced to move her life into a stranger’s home. She never met her father, a biker named Bones and has only lived her life with her mom, Joss. But Joss is dying and she needs some place to land until she turns 18. She ends up staying with her father’s best friend, Riggs and his family (Reckless Temptations (The Tempted Series Book 4)). Brook doesn’t have room in her life for romance, especially with Riggs’ son, Eric, but it seems fate doesn’t give a damn.
Let’s start with Riggs and Bones. Yes, they’re a part of the Satan’s Knights motorcycle club and it was great seeing some of our old friends from previous books but really, Eric and Brook don’t have a lot to do with the club. Eric is set on joining the Army and I had to admire his determination but more, his sense of loyalty and honor. This is a young adult/coming of age story but with their circumstances, both Eric and Brook had to grow up way faster than a “normal” teenager. (What’s normal anyway?!?) My heart broke for Brook, repeatedly. I wanted to reach through the pages and hug her. This is the magic that is Janine Infante Bosco… She writes characters that are so relatable, charismatic. It’s normally a chore for me to connect with YA characters but I had no problem with these two from the very start!
This book has a less dramatic plot than others from the original generation but definitely still pertinent in the end. It’s a sweet yet sexy little gem! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Janine Infante Bosco lives in New York City, she has always loved reading and writing. When she was thirteen, she began to write her own stories and her passion for writing took off as the years went on. At eighteen, she even wrote a full screenplay with dreams of one day becoming a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Janine writes emotionally charged novels with an emphasis on family bonds, strong willed female characters, and alpha male men who will do anything for the women they love. She loves to interact with fans and fellow avid romance readers like herself.
She is proud of her success as an author and the friendships she’s made in the book community but her greatest accomplishment to date would be her two sons Joseph and Paul.
Great review ❤
