ICYMI: Friday Faves is a little meme where I can post about some of my favorite book related topics. I try to have a new theme every month and February’s theme is: ROMANTIC MOVIES!🎬

February is the month for LOVE!💘 But since I am a ROMANCE book blogger, I’m always posting about something from the romance genre. Sooo…let’s mix it up a bit! I took four of my favorite romantic movies and found some of my favorite books to fit in their plots. Make sense?

Pretty Woman is a 1990 American romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall, from a screenplay by J. F. Lawton. The film stars Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, and features Hector Elizondo, Ralph Bellamy (in his final performance), Laura San Giacomo, and Jason Alexander in supporting roles.^[1] The film’s story centers on down-on-her-luck Hollywood sex worker Vivian Ward, who is hired by Edward Lewis, a wealthy businessman, to be his escort for several business and social functions, and their developing relationship over the course of her week-long stay with him.

So, CLASS WARFARE! What does this mean? Well, there’s several ways to look at this. In PRETTY WOMAN, Julia Roberts character, Vivian, is a down on her luck prostitute. Richard Gere, Edward, is a wealthy business man looking for a business like relationship for just one week. This reminds me of the iconic Cinderella fairytale. But there’s all kinds of “social classes” that our society is broken into, regardless of all the strides we’ve made to eradicate social division. I won’t get into all the political aspects because that’s not what this post is about!😘

Oxford Dictionaries defines SOCIAL CLASS as:

a division of a society based on social and economic status.

Let’s start with the obvious. Different species!

WARELOCK VS. HUMAN
