Wicked Knight (Wicked Horse Vegas, Book #5)
Sawyer Bennett

Release Date: January 1, 2019

He never wanted to be anyone’s hero…

Asher Knight is tall, dark, and wickedly handsome. He’s also irrevocably broken. Submerging himself in long hours at work by day and debauchery at The Wicked Horse by night, Asher uses work and play to numb the pain and guilt he feels over the death of his wife. What isn’t satisfied with one will surely be resolved by the other. At least that’s how he’s survived the last few years.

Hannah Madigan works three jobs just to make ends meet. Beat down by life, not to mention a cheating husband who was unfairly awarded custody of their daughter, Hannah is determined to make a better life for herself and get her kid back. But with pressures mounting and one costly mistake that leaves her owing Asher a huge debt, Hannah is as close as she’s ever come to throwing in the towel.

She’s given a golden opportunity…

Determined to stay the course by any means necessary, Hannah accepts an unusual proposal from Asher. He’ll give her a job. She’ll give him her body. Sounds easy, right? Until she realizes she needs his help more than she’s willing to admit. And he finds her adding to his life in ways he never wanted to accept.

This wicked knight may just learn that sometimes saving someone else means allowing yourself to be saved in return.

Wicked Knight (Wicked Horse Vegas, #5)Wicked Knight by Sawyer Bennett

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

WICKED KNIGHT is book 5 in the Wicked Horse Vegas series. It completely stands alone so don’t be shy about grabbing this one up!

Hannah Madigan is down on her luck. She’s working three jobs, trying to earn enough money to hire a decent lawyer in an attempt to get custody of her daughter, Hope. But her life drastically changes when she accidentally gets the attention of the handsome Asher Knight. Asher is a widow who’s resigned himself to being alone so he spends his spare time at a sex club, The Wicked Horse, where he can play without worries of a relationship. Can Hannah change his wicked ways?

I loved Asher! He’s probably my favorite bad boy since Jericho from book 1. Why? Because he romped around a sex club and made no apologies for it! Asher was a man who knew exactly what he wanted and he took it without being an asshat about it. He was smart, laid back, confident, bordering on arrogant and I enjoyed every second of him! Yes, his relationship with Hannah was not exactly traditional, in the beginning at least. But as details unfold between Asher and Hannah, it becomes clear that Hannah is just as independent as Asher is. The things that Hannah goes through broke my heart but she was tough! She didn’t need to lean on anyone for most of her life until Asher waltzed in and saved the day. I absolutely adored watching these two strong, stubborn characters find love.

There’s not a lot of over the top drama in this one. I’d say it’s almost sweet, what with the fairytale ending but…nah! It’s delightfully naughty {wink, wink}! Told from dual POVs. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
