ALL OF ME is book 2 in the Confessions of the Heart series. This story revolves around the brother from the hero in book 1 but can still stand on its own.

Ian Jacobs is a hot shot attorney on the fast track to making partner in his law firm. He’s clawed his way to the top by any means necessary, leaving behind a horrible past. Grace is a newly divorced, single mother. She’s about to enter the fight of her life and she desperately needs Ian’s help. But one look in his cinnamon colored eyes has Grace wondering if Ian can give her more than just a lawyer’s advice.

Here’s a confession of my own: I was up until about 2 a.m. reading this spectacularly written book and woke up with puffy eyes from sobbing my heart out! Sweet baby Thor, A.L. Jackson managed to tear my heart out with these two characters, just tore it right out of my chest until I was bleeding all over the floor! Now, here’s just a small spoiler: Grace has three children that she’s fighting for. If you’re a mother (or really anyone who has a heartbeat), you’ll understand the fierce need to protect your kids. And sometimes, the monsters under the bed are real. But Grace was so incredibly strong for her babies. I bow down to her ability to be a sweet, loving, caring, forgiving person even after enduring atrocities. And my poor Ian, the ultimate anti-hero! Gah! Do you ever wonder how one person can be so cruel to another? I’ll never understand that. Ian had to learn how to fight…fight for love, for a second chance, for forgiveness but he also needed to learn how to feel deserving of all if that. It was a hard, arduous journey for him and he’s easily become one of my favorite bad boys!

This one is angsty, tumultuous, it invoked a tidal wave of emotions for me and I’m so thrilled that Ian and Grace found their happy ever after! I can’t wait for book 3. Told from dual POVs. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
