TACET A MORTUIS (Whispers from the Dead) is book 3 of the Elite Kings Club series. I thought this would be the last book of the series but NOPE! We’re left with another cliffy and the mention of book 4! This series must be read in order.
More secrets are revealed, new alliances are formed and connections are made in this continuation of the Elite Kings Club story. The fate of the Kings is in Bishop and Madison’s hands. Can they work together to bring the group through the chaos despite their differences?
Although I liked books one and two, I enjoyed this story so much more! I think it’s because I really loved Bishop’s point of view. Things just made more sense for me. I also felt like the relationship between Madison and Bishop was developed better. It felt more REAL, less about the sex and more like actual feelings were involved. And while I respected Madison’s growth as an individual (though she was still kind of whiny), I ended up falling head over heels for BISHOP! I mean, yeah, he could be a jerk sometimes but considering what he’d been groomed for since birth? Yup, he was definitely my favorite character!
The entire series is like watching a soap opera…a story that’s maybe a bit unbelievable and over the top but still manages to keep you entertained and slightly addicted. Will I go on to read book 4? Well, yeah! I’m still searching for answers and now there’s a whole bunch of different questions! Told from dual POVs with another stunning cliffhanger. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
