FALLEN INK is book one in a spin-off series, the Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs. No worries if you’ve never read anything from the original series because although there’s some glimpses of a few favorite characters, the series stands alone!
With the help of a few of their Denver cousins, Adrienne and her brother, Shep open up a new tattoo shop. For this new adventure, Addi drags along her best friend and fellow tattoo artist, Mace. When Mace finds himself a single dad unexpectedly, he leans on his best friend for support and comfort. And that leads to a whole lot more!
I LOVE the single dad trope! There’s just something so sexy about a man who’ll do anything for his kid. Especially when that man is a hot, tattooed, silver fox who likes to talk dirty in the bedroom (or hallway, storage closet, counter…)! Addi and Mace were so scrumptious together!
The best thing about falling for your best friend? Already knowing so much about the other person. And although there’s a lot of going back and forth, a lot of hesitation and fear even of taking that next step between Addi and Mace, I still always had the sense that these two totally belonged together. SWOON!
I adored the secondary characters, especially Mace’s cutie pie daughter Daisy. There’s a touch of suspense, a sense of family, a hot as hell romance and fantastic characters all rolled into this awesome book! And I’m stoked for the stories coming about the new Montgomerys from Colorado Springs! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
