Book Blogger HopAbout the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question:

21st – 27th – Would you stop reading a book if an element of the plot strongly clashed with your personal beliefs, or would you continue reading until you finished the book? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

Well, I’ve been an avid reader since I was a kid and I was usually pretty picky about what I read and ALWAYS finished a book I started. But I began reviewing books about a year ago and started blogging just this year. The more ARCs I was given, the more I began to realize that there are quite a few “authors” who are just awful! WAIT, LET ME EXPLAIN! I won’t give any examples (I actually can’t think of any right now!) because I truely believe that all authors have the potential for greatness and I DEFINITELY couldn’t do what these people do! So, rather than leaving a mean or ugly review (and I’ve read a few REALLY mean reviews), I chose to just stop reading any book that I couldn’t get behind! Plus, reading is my guilty escape from the kids and hubby, I should LIKE what the heck I read, LOL!😄

Thanks to Melissa from Every Free Chance Books!

🌼So SORRY if this is a double post!!😄🌼
