Retaliation: A Twisted Mayhem MC Novel by Cat Mason
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Cat Mason is a new to me author but one I’ll definitely be reading again! This book has it all…HOT romance between a tough bad boy and his tenacious and gutsy woman, danger and intrigue, surprises and laughter. The story dragged me in from the first page and kept me captive till the end! Stone was assertive and domineering but also had a sweet and almost tender side for his childhood friend, Roanne. The chemistry between them was explosive and uncontrollable! I also have to say that I loved the secondary characters…Schrader, Jinks and Huck had some pretty funny scenes and banter. It’ll be interesting to see the direction the next book in the series takes. (I hope some of these guys get their own story!) Told from dual POVs with a happy for now ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
